Crescendo Concert in Frankfurt

Hungarian cellist student János Ripka and pianist professor artist Ye-Ree Kim gave an excellent concert on 19th May, 2016 in the Steinway & Sons Concert Hall, Frankfurt.  Ripka won the opportunity to play at the concert as an award at Crescendo Summer Institute 2015.

Marko Hartung, the director of the Steinway & Sons Frankfurt greeted the guests at the beginning of the concert and presented Crescendo, with which a cooperation had been established for decades. The artists played pieces by Boccherini, Brahms, Prokofjev and Tchaikovski at the concert. Mr Hartung offered further concert opportunities to the artists as a result of the cooperation.

Several cultural evenings have already taken place organized by Crescendo International in the Steinway & Sons Frankfurt Concert Hall, where the director and founder of Crescendo International, Beat Rink led discussions together with Franz Mohr, who delivered different lectures on his missionary work with outstanding pianists, such as Horowitz, Rubinstein, Glenn Gould. The special aspect that Mr Mohr represents has also been publisched by Crescendo International.

Crescendo Summer Institute is glad that the Steinway House Frankfurt was (after a wonderful evening with Franz Mohr, the chief concert technician of Steinway & Sons, NY - and the tuner of Horowitz, Rubinstein, Glenn Gould and numerous other great pianists of the last decades) again a podium for Crescendo.
